Marketing (Generational Visuals)

Marketing for Generational Visuals   -Product: My product is video production. USP: Videos made with young people/ innovative ideas. Demand in local area, video production for small, local businesses.   -Place My video production is targeted at local businesses. This is sold online through my website. A physical premises/ studio/ store wouldn’t be financially viable in the start-up of the business so I feel the smartest way to sell the product would be online. Clients can use the website to send enquiries on their video productions, then they would be contacted with a quote on price and production plan. By selling directly from our website, this gives all revenue to the business. -Price Cost of production: £100 for equipment hire, £16 Premier Pro Price: £250-£400 Profit: £134-£284 per project, depending on extra costs such as travel costs/ extra crew/ extra equipment/ permits for filming. Some experienced video production businesses in the area ch...

Stop motion animation

Image
This was my first time taking part in stop motion animation using Lego. It was a long process due to the amount of photos needed to create a flowing moving image. I felt the hardest aspects of the production was keeping the continuity. During stop motion production, you must keep the set up the same and only move objects/ characters the smallest amount for the next photo to be taken. Another challenge was depicting characters who fall or have to be midair in some shots. For example, when characters are jumping. There are technical ways around this. One way is taking a shot without the character in it. Then using wire/ blue tac etc to suspend the character in the air. The wire/ blue tac is then edited out in post production.

Heritage Action Days

Image
I took part in filming events for the Heritage Action Days at college on 2nd and 3rd of March 2022. I worked with Sydney to film talks and workshops taking place mainly in the Adnitt Centre. Feedback from event leader Charlotte Lanham: 'Rosie helped with our Heritage Action Days on the 2nd/3rd of March and joined our media team. Over the two days Rosie was working with a partner and helped cover a range of media particularly focusing on the Adnitt Centre talks and workshops. This content has now been used by East Norfolk’s Marketing team and quotes have been taken from these workshops have been used in our press release. The content captured was to a high standard with all shots being in focus and audio being sharp too. Equipment was booked out in advance by the team and if any questions arose they would always come and find me to help solve the problem. If no events were on they would often be in different parts of the campus capturing extra footage which was great to see them us...

Enterprise feedback (Generational Visuals)

Questions asked: · Do you like the idea? · What do you think will be successful? · What problems do you think they might encounter? · Where do you think their biggest competition will come from? · What do you like/dislike about the branding? · Any other feedback? Feedback from Jack Duggan : 1 - I really like the idea, honestly! A video production company focused on diversity and helping out younger students with work experience is a great concept, and something that I feel can work very well given the lack of competition in the local area (taking your word on this). Focusing on diversity can help attract people who feel under-represented and widen your client base. 2 - I think that your daily operations of producing and filming for your clients would be very successful, as you seem to be focusing on lower budget areas such as school productions and charities. This means that you don't need to have a super cinematic style for your productions, which works well given the low budget o...
